St. James's Park

St James's Park is the oldest out of the 8 Royal Parks in London, boasting a green open space, a lake that's home to waterfall and beautiful flower beds in front of Buckingham Palace. From the Blue Bridge, you have a magnificent view of Big Ben, London Eye and Buckingham Palace. Enjoy a stroll through the 90-acre park, seeing the wildlife sanctuary of geese, ducks, swans and fifteen species of waterfowl including pelicans.

Although there aren't any official playgrounds with slides and swings etc for children to play in, there is still lots of green open spaces to run around, play outdoor games, to explore the lake and watch the pelicans during the feeding time. Have a picnic with friends and family and take in the beautiful sceneries or cycle and skate around the park.
