Creekside Discovery Centre
Creekside Discovery Centre is a nature and wildlife centre located in Deptford, London next to a tidal tributary of the river Thames. It is committed to managing Deptford Creek long-term as it is home to urban wildlife. It is a great place where families and children can have fun exploring the river and the environment.
Children & Family activities
The discovery centre offers a wide range of fun and educational indoor and outdoor events and activities for all age ranges. Families will enjoy the guided low tide walks and the kids love splashing with their boots through Deptford Creek fishing for animals and having an adventure! There is a pond with a dipping platform, a fish tank with many different aquatic habitats and wildlife with over 200 species of wildflower and invertebrates that you can explore!
There's also lots of holiday programmes and team-building exercises throughout the year.
Food & Drink
There is an indoor and outdoor eating area so you can also bring your own snacks and packed lunches and have a lovely family picnic surrounded by the wonderful nature.

There are toilets available at the centre.
Getting there
You can get to the park by public transport and visit the TFL (Transport for London) website to plan your journey easily, knowing which bus or train to take at which times. The address is 14 Creekside, Deptford, London SE8 4SA, which you can use to help you to get there using a map or GPS device. Only two disabled parking spaces available (contact prior to arrival). We suggest to travel by public transport due to limited parking.
