Crystal Palace Park
Crystal Palace Park is a 200 acre English Heritage park located in South London and is the largest park in the borough of Bromley. With it's beautiful green surroundings, there's a lot to do with the family in this park. There are lovely water features, sport facilities, a playground, a maze to get lost in, a fishing lake and statues of prehistoric monsters which is one of the main attractions of the park. Take a stroll on the many pathways, go bike riding on the cycling track, take your dog for a walk and have fun with friends feeding the birds and squirrels.
Playgrounds
There is a playground perfect for kids to explore and go on a mini adventure. The playground has a few sets of swings, a slide and the most exiting part which is the sandpit that has fake dinosaur skeletons and eggs buried in it. Children can bring their own toys from home, like a bucket and spade to get more creative.
The dinosaur statues are a very popular feature of the park. There are 30 full-scale model dinosaurs built around 1854 and children can go around viewing these statues from a distance and learn fun facts about the history, making it an exciting but also informative experience.
There is a farm, where kids can see some real life furry friends and a fishing lake.
Food & Drink
Bring your food and packed lunches from home and have a picnic in the park. There are picnic benches with tables available too. There is also the Brown & Green Life cafe which offers a selection of delicious hot and cold foods with vegetarian, vegan and dairy free options as well as drinks and treats like cakes.

You can get to the park by public transport and visit the TFL (Transport for London) website to plan your journey easily, knowing which bus or train to take at which times. The postcode is SE19 2GA which you can use to help you to get there using a map or GPS device. There is free parking available at the Thicket Road, Anerley Hill and Crystal Palace Park Road entrances to the park.
