St. James's Park

St James's Park is the oldest out of the 8 Royal Parks in London, boasting a green open space, a lake that's home to waterfall and beautiful flower beds in front of Buckingham Palace. From the Blue Bridge, you have a magnificent view of Big Ben, London Eye and Buckingham Palace. Enjoy a stroll through the 90-acre park, seeing the wildlife sanctuary of geese, ducks, swans and fifteen species of waterfowl including pelicans.

Playgrounds 

Although there aren't any official playgrounds with slides and swings etc for children to play in, there is still lots of green open spaces to run around, play outdoor games, to explore the lake and watch the pelicans during the feeding time. Have a picnic with friends and family and take in the beautiful sceneries or cycle and skate around the park.

Food & Drink

There are refreshment points around St. James's Park that offers hot and cold drinks like tea and coffee as well as snacks and refreshments like sandwiches and ice-cream, perfect for the summer days. These are located at Marlborough Gate, Horse Shoe Bend and Artillery Memorial.
St James's Cafe is surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna with great views of the fountain and St James's Lake. Enjoy British classics like scrambled egg on toast, snacks, salads, sandwiches with drinks from the bar. A children's menu is also available. Storey's Gate Cafe has a stunning interior inspired by birds and artwork. There is seating inside and outside where you can enjoy the fresh air. Relax and have a cup of tea or coffee or enjoy from a variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes.
