Camley Street Natural Park

Camley Street Natural Park is a 2-acre nature reserve in King's Cross, in the London Borough of Camden. It is situated on the banks of Regent's Canal and is a wildlife haven full of butterflies, birds, bats and plant life. The perfect place for children and families to visit, away from the bustle of London. Best time to visit is April to August.

Children & Family activities

Camley Street Natural Park is a wonderful place for families to visit with their children as there are a variety of activities to do such as a supervised bug hunt or go pond-dipping. Pond-dipping is where children can kneel or lie down on a platform and use a tray or bowl to scoop up some water and examine it.

There is an activities classroom for children with lots of different things to do to encourage them to learn about the value of wildlife. One example is kids being able to see the beautiful dragon flies and then making their own dragon flies to take home.

Food & Drink

The Wildwood Cafe is perfect to sit and relax and enjoy a range of hot and cold foods or a cup of coffee and treats like homemade cakes.
The park also has a new area with a wooden floating platform and wooden 'pod' style seating so you can bring your own snacks and packed lunches and sit on the canal, having your own family picnic.

Toilets
