Barnard Park - kidelp

Barnard Park

Barnard Park is a 10-acre green space and is one of the largest parks in Barnsbury, Islington. It offers sports facilities such as a free play football pitch. There is also a playground for children who want to have fun and be active and interact with each other and a smaller extension park on Matilda Street which is perfect for dog owners.

Playgrounds

The Adventure Playground is a great place for children aged 6 to 13. There is a variety of equipment and structures like swings, climbing towers, platforms, rope bridges and more.

The seasonal water play feature is perfect for the hot summer days when kids love to splash around and have fun with the interactive sprays.

The Barnard One O'clock Club is a free morning play session on Tuesdays for parents with children under age 5 where they can explore the nature in the fenced grounds of the club. There are sometimes organised activities and games like bear hunts to create a memorable experience for the children.

Food & Drink

There are snacks at the park you can purchase as well as a Park Lunch for £5. You can also bring your own food and packed lunches and have a picnic!

Toilets

There are toilet facilities in the children's playground.
