The Story Garden is a beautiful community garden located in King's Cross, behind the British Library. It has a peaceful orchard, a small oak forest and lots of beds for people in the local community to be able to grow herbs, flowers and vegetables. This project aims to inspire and educate young people about creating a sustainable future. Click here for the Weekly programme. Children & Family activities The Story Garden hosts a variety of events, projects and workshops throughout the year that children and families can get involved in. The project ‘MAKE' offers many different workshops where families and children can learn new skills, share knowledge and explore with tools and materials. Some examples are Weaving workshops, DIY projects, arts & crafts, making clothes and many more! Food & Drink There is a kitchen for cooking and enjoying meals made from ingredients that are grown in the garden which families can definitely get involved in and kids will have fun with the process! Toilets N/A Getting there You can get to the park by public transport and visit the TFL (Transport for London) website to plan your journey easily, knowing which bus or train to take at which times.
