Highgate Wood

Highgate Wood is a green forest wonderland and is an area of 28 hectares of ancient woodland, situated in North London. It is a wildlife haven and its picturesque so bring your camera to take beautiful pictures of the sceneries and woodland trails. There is also an information hut with leaflets and trail guides to help you plan your journey around the park. The park is dog friendly, as long as they are kept under control with a lead on at all times.

Playgrounds

There is an excellent playground which is near the Archway Gate and is open to children under 15. It's open from 7.30am until 45 minutes before Highgate Wood Park closes. Let your children go on an adventure in this exciting playground with swings, slides and climbing frames and ropes where they can have some creative play. There is also a sports ground next to the playground and a football pitch, perfect for active sporty kids.

Food & Drink

The Pavilion Cafe in Highgate Wood is open from 9am every day excluding Christmas Day. It is located in the midst of the woods and has a divine atmosphere with amazing fresh foods and Al Fresco dining! There is a veranda where dogs are permitted so you can enjoy the homemade dishes with your pet. Choose from a range of foods and treats including their popular and delicious carrot cake which kids always love!

Toilets

There are a couple of well-maintained toilet facilities in the park, including toilets with disabled access.

The postcode of Highgate Wood park is N10 3JN. There is street parking available in the side roads branching off of Muswell Hill Road and two disabled parking bays outside the Pavilion Cafe in the park, accessible from Muswell Hill Road.
