Alexandra Palace Park
Alexandra Park is a beautiful 80-hectare park located in North London. It is a peaceful park, home to 694 types of plants, animal and fungi as well as 212 types of insects and 26 types of arachnids. Enjoy a wonderful atmospheric view in the large open green space or enjoy entertainment like ice-skating or exhibitions at Alexandra Palace. The park offers a variety of events and activities throughout the year like summer or firework festivals, organised walks to learn about wild flowers, the history of the park etc. During most weeks, there is also a farmer's market at the foot of Muswell Hill, great for the family.
Go Ape holds a very fun and adventurous obstacle course for kids and adults every winter in various locations including in Alexandra Park. The prices depend on the age as well as the type of challenge you choose. There are cool obstacles such as crossings, wobbly bridges, zip wire rides and much more, perfect for brave kids and families that love a challenge and aren't afraid of heights!
The skate park is great for the slightly older kids who love the sport and maybe want to practise their skills! There is also a lovely boating lake with lots of boats like pedalos and rowing boats.
