Victoria Tower Gardens Park

Victoria Tower Gardens is one of the Royal parks in Westminister, along the north bank of the famous River Thames. It is a popular area, visited by tourists from all over the world with surrounding landmarks like St Paul's Cathedral, The Shard and Victoria Tower which is part of the Palace of Westminister. It's a lovely spot with benches to sit and relax as your children have fun in the playground.

Playgrounds

The Horseferry Playground is a nice section for children to explore and have fun. There are swings, a wide slide, sensory dance chimes to give it a mystical atmosphere and a water play installation which was designed to represent the River Thames. There is also a sandpit so your children can bring their spade and bucket to make sandcastles! This playground is surrounded by metal railings to create a safe enclosed space for kids to play and interact together.

Food & Drink

The seasonal catering kiosk cafe which is located on the south side of the park serves a variety of light snacks and refreshments such as sandwiches, fresh pastries and paninis as well as hot and cold drinks. Bring your own snacks and packed lunches and have your own picnic in the park while enjoying the view of the beautiful River Thames.

Toilets

There are toilets at the bottom of Lambeth steps and they cost 20p to use. The accessible toilets however are free.
